Economic Development

The Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation is the local economic development agency for Owensboro and Daviess County. It is a public/private partnership formed to attract and to grow primary employers. This organization, headed by Nick Brake, President/CEO, is responsible for aggressively seeking new business and expanding existing businesses. In conjunction with other agencies, it markets the MidAmerica Airpark, Pleasant Valley Industrial Park, and the Riverport’s Coleman Terminal.
